I (semi) recently purchased a respeaker 4 mic array hat for my raspberry pi 3b+ voice assistant project. The microphone itself works fine but whenever I load anything on it that records the sound (in this case it’s a snowboy test) it starts producing a faint high pitched sound that I can hear in the entire room. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the mic array or another issue. I’m using an original power brick from raspberry and I’m using a gpio pin extender since the mic array wouldn’t fit properly without one.

PS: Posting this on both this forum and raspberry’s. I’ll update the post on both of them if I find a solution.
