I have one of the older 7.3" Seven-Color eInk / ePaper Displays and am looking for a way to control this raw panel.
There is the XIAO ePaper Display Board(ESP32-S3) - EE04 offered by Seeed Studio that is the only one with the necessary 50-pin connector but according to the docs and the product page, this panel is not compatible with it, is that correct?
The only other solution I could find is that Waveshare sells these with a HAT for Raspberry Pi etc. but I didn’t see a way to buy the HAT only (if that is even fully compatible with the Seeed panel), it always comes as a kit.
Judging by the number of discontinued ACeP panels it seems like they unfortunately have been made obsolete by the newer Spectra ones.
Does anyone use one of these and how are you controlling it?
