Does Portpins.h conflict with other Arduino projects?

to make the Music Shield world, it is necessary to replace the portpins.h file with a new one.

Does replacing this file conflict with other projects that I might use my Arduino for? Do I need to swap my old portpins.h file back if I need to use my Arduino with another shield?

Till now, there’s no report about the conflicts, as we just added some more defines in this file.
It should be ok.
