DIY YAGI Antenna for LoRa with amazing distance results
In this video, I’m making a DIY Yagi Antenna specifically designed for use with 868MHz LoRa to try and beat my previous distance record of 20 km.
The antenna is built with 3D printed boom that already has all of the holes for the antenna elements and a gap in the middle for aligning the dipole rods.
The cable for the antenna is attached with zip ties and it can be very easily built by anyone with or without experience.
During testing I used the RYLR998 and RYLR993 LoRa modules from Reyax where one served as the receiving station and I was away with the other module and the antenna to test out the range.
