I was checking out the Diffuse reflection IR Switch sensor. It says within 500mm. Does this output the the actual distance or just if something is present within that distance?
I’m trying to find a sensor that can detect an object within 2-4inch range. The only thing I can find for that distance is a Sharp sensor that is discontinued
