Current limiting resister for Glowing Berries?

Just bought an awesome Blue Glowing Berry.

I’m not sure whether it has built-in current limiting resistor.

If I apply 12V for a brief period of time, the blue light is impressively bright to my liking; If I put a 1k resistor, the blue light is no longer that impressive. But I am not sure whether I can safely apply 12V to it without the current limiting resistor for extended period of time.

Any idea?

12V power supply is the best and safe way to make it work.

Good to know that. No resistor is needed.
Now I can enjoy the beautiful light without fearing that it would be blown in the longer run.
