Hello, does anyone knows if this CAN Shield with MCP2551 transceiver is capable of sending and receiving CAN messages of 100kpbs K-CAN Fault Tolerant bus? Accordingly to specification it can send up to 1MB, but this is high-speed transceiver so I’m not sure if it’s possible to get it work with fault tolerant bus. I could never get it working. It works fine on 500kbps CAN, I can receive and send.
As I’ve heard I would need other transceiver like TJA1054, but CAN shield with such transceiver doesn’t exist, so I would need to create it by my own.
First I would like to try everything I can to somehow make this working with current transceiver.
