Can Photo Resist Coating be removed locally?

I received my latest order of boards today. It was a quick turn around and as usual, the board looks great.

I do have one small problem though. The leads on one of the ICs is covered by the photo resist coating. This was caused by an error in the Gerber file that I provided at my end .

Is there a way to remove the photo resist coating locally around the IC other than by scraping it off?

Thanks,

SkipW

I have solved the problem by lightly scraping the solder resist coat from the leads with a sharp razor blade. It wasn’t too difficult.
