Hello,
I’m looking to build a J1939 (OBDII for trucks) project. The library at <LINK_TEXT text=“https://copperhilltech.com/ard1939-sae- … or-aduino/”>https://copperhilltech.com/ard1939-sae-j1939-protocol-stack-for-aduino/</LINK_TEXT> seems a good choice. The website links (via several old links) to your CAN BUS shield. However, all the SEEED documentation is ODBII specific.
What library do you recommend for J1939 use?
Does the CopperHill library work with the shield?
Tx
Bas
Hi Bas,
the picture uses the can bus shield v1.2. we upgrade it to can bus shield v2.0 now. But you can check the v2.0 and v1.2 differences on http://wiki.seeedstudio.com/CAN-BUS_Shield_V2.0/. they use same chips and did some small modification. can bus shield v1.2 shall support the function. i went through the documentation that it needs the hardware to simulate the issue. So i can not test it and verify it. thanks for understanding.
