Hello,

I got a CAN-bus shield attached to an Arduino Uno board. I wonder if the UART connector available on the CAN shield is an extra (add-on) HW serial interface or shared with the standard serial interface on Pin 0 and 1 of the Arduino board itself? Any idea?

The four pin connector brings out the RX(D0) and TX(D1) lines of the Arduino.
