Bypassing Grove Finger Clip Heart Sensor Mesuring Delay

Is there any possibility to avoid the 8 second delay in mesuring a bpm from the PAH8001EI-2G.
From my understanding the sensor waits 8 seconds to calculate an average before communicating any reading to the arduino.
Would there be a programing solution to bypass this and have a direct unaveraged reading from the sensor ?

Thank you very much, I´m really grateful for any suggestions

Hi, I think you can change the library of it to change it. GitHub - felias-fogg/SoftI2CMaster: Software I2C Arduino library
