Burning images to the Edgebox Rpi 200 CM4

Hi, we have an OS that will run on CM4 and like the EdgeBox RPi 200 and I am wondering whether there is a way to burn that image onto the Edgebox Rpi 200 using a USB C cable. This is a Debian 11 based OS called SolarNodeOS made for renewable energy management data applications. Thanks, John

If you need to flash a different image to the Edgebox RPI200, you will need to remove the CM4 module from the device and place it on an additional CM4 carrier board to flash the image.
You can refer to the following tutorial, which uses the “Dual Gigabit Ethernet Carrier Board for RPi CM4” as the CM4 carrier board.

Thanks again for this - I am able to use the reComputer 1000 with our newest Debian 12 based SolarNodeOS image. my question is now - to enable the 3 RS-485 ports (/dev/ttyAMA2,/dev/ttyAMA3, /dev/ttyAMA5 in your documentation) how would I do that? they do not appear in the file listing if you type: sudo ls -l /dev/tty*

Hi,

Please start a new thread on reComputer R1000’s issue.

If you have followed the instruction, which solution did you perfomed? Is it kernel module solution or Application layer solution?
