Board outline and slot.

Hi, I am working on my design and have a few questions:

  1. The info page mentions “Board outline must be included at least in one layer.” What is required here? Can it just be a silkscreen rectangle? or does it have to be a copper rectangle? Or something else?

  2. The info page mentions “Minimum slot 1mm*1mm”. How are slots expected? Are they expected to just be G85 elements in the drill file? Or should they be a “track” on some layer?

  3. The info page mentions “Drills line and long slot can’t be accepted” What exactly does this mean and how does it relate to my question (2)? Is there a maximum slot length?

A1. yes, you can draw the outline in the silkscreen layer.

A2. It is a solid shape, and generate the slot layer in GML file.

A3. no, we do not have a maximum slot length, this rule just for filter the panelize PCB.
