Blob_boot0.imgimg Error on reComputer j4012

Hello,

I am experiencing an error while flashing JetPack 6.1 onto my Jetson Orin NX 16GB module, installed on a reComputer J401 carrier board. I initially tried using NVIDIA’s SDK Manager, but encountered issues and then followed the instructions in this document: Flash Jetpack | Seeed Studio Wiki

However, I am still encountering an error. The error message I am receiving is “Stat for blob_boot0.imgimg failed”.

Hi there,

Excellent UNIT!. So I see this , is why I asked…
I used ubuntu 18.04 as host machine during the first installation and I encountered the error mentioned above. Then I switched to Ubuntu 20.04 and the installation ended successfully."

It appears the Tegra stuff is messing up the last file system check
Others faced it as well, G-man shows this thread short but good info.

Switch up your Ubuntu host or, look more into the downloads you may be have both files the original and the one for the NVIDIA on the system confusing it. YMMV

Thank you for your help and time. Using PJ_Glasso Ubuntu 20.04 solved my problem and the flash process was completed successfully. Best regards.

Hi there,
Awesome Glad you got it going, one because its’ a Rocket at 100 Flops so and NOT cheap either. I hope they all converge a little better on the future software & JP’s " it’s all Open source" LOL
so they say!

Post up some of your results on models and inferencing and such if possible. That local DeepSeek r1 stuff is really impressive. :+1:
