Does the BLE sounding initiator/ reflector example which comes with the nrf SDK supports xiao nrf51l15 sense hardware
I am using latest SDK v3.2.1
Hi there,
And Welcome here…
So, it does work, I believe @Toastee0 was able to get it going on Xiao and posted link to his Great GIT examples. Check those out. Also Have you used the Sysbuild to build it with and the proper target selected, which end are you trying to use the Xiao for the Reflector is what is demonstrated if memory serves me correctly, and you must disable the Uart21 conflict, or change the logging to the RTT ![]()

Thanks for the reply
I will try those things and changes and let you know if if works
I am using xiao for both reflector as well as initiator
The BLE Initiator/Reflector example in nRF SDK v3.2.1 does not natively support XIAO nRF51 Sense because it’s designed for Nordic dev kits.
It can work only after adapting board-specific pin mappings, SoftDevice settings, and hardware configurations.
So what should i change in there can you help me out with it
Hi there,
So, might be better to check the info, before posting.
First I’m sure you meant the nRF52 Series, not nRF51
(doesn’t exist) is NOT supported, nothing to do with pins or mappings , The Radio and Stack do not support it.
Channel Sounding is NOT supported by the nRF52 or nRF53 Series silicon.

Hi there,
So the only Silicon the supports it is the nRF54 series MCU’s, So you will need a XIAO nRF54L15 for both Initiator and reflector. ![]()

Get a Nrf54L15DK board you can do everything that way and you gain a Jlink programer as well. ![]()
