I wanted to implement a similar project as the one described in spectrum.ieee.org/geek-life/hand … ffice-door. However, I don’t need to use twitter(I don’t want to connect to the internet)…I just need to send short messages through wifi from my PC to an LCD connected to a microcontroller .
As I was searching for an MCU that can have wifi connection either with an extra wifi module or without, I came across Black Widow 1.0…any idea what this product is??..is it a wifi module that needs to be connected to MCU or its an MCU itself??..I read the wiki for this but couldnt get much from it…Plus it says some components have been switched out??..which ones??..sorry as I am a newbie to this kind of stuff…
