BGA?

Hi

Is Seeed able to assemble boards that have BGA components (0.8mm pitch)? Perhaps up to 300 pins for example.

Does BGA make the cost significantly more than QFN or TQFP?

hi there,

  1. we can do BGA package, but it must meet with our requirement:
  • the pitch of BGA must over 0.45mm
  • the diameter of BGA must over 0.45mm
  1. the cost are the same.

So to confirm the cost for BGA is the same / similar to something simple like QFP and QFN? I would like to use BGA and QFN in my design for space and component cost reasons, but there are TQFP alternatives that I figured would be cheaper to assemble.
