Beamforming configuration

Can anyone confirm if both the 4 and 7 mic array have beam-forming? (I see the 7 array does support it).
Also is the beamforming configurable to let’s say … someone standing just by one of the microphones. Ie. half a metre from the microphone at the 6 o’clock position.

Hi, Did anyone reply your queries about beamforming? So far, I cannot find any documentation on how beamforming of the ReSpeaker_Mic_Array can be done?

Depending on the determined signal quality and uncertainty, a beamforming configuration, applied by the first device (100) for performing the radio transmissions to the second device (10), is adapted. A signal quality associated with radio transmissions from a first device (100) to a second device (10) is determined.
