Hello everyone,
I am using the Seeed XIAO ESP32-C3 board and was thinking of powering it with bare two 3.7V Li-ion batteries. The board includes a built-in ETA4054 charging chip. I would like to know:
Does the on-board charger and protection circuitry provide undervoltage cutoff (to prevent deep discharge) and overcharge protection for the battery?
Or do I need to use an external protection and charging module such as a TP4056 with built-in PCM/BMS for safe battery management?
What is the recommended configuration to ensure safe charging, discharging, and overall battery protection?
Thank you for your guidance!
