Arduino Mega/2.8'' TFT Touch Shield V2.0 White screen

I have recently bought and arduino Mega from here:

And the 2.8’’ TFT Touch Shield V2.0 from here:

so I went to the wiki and download the libs, just here:

seeedstudio.com/wiki/2.8%27% … hield_V2.0

Plug-in the screen in the arduino, compile and run any of the examples, and all I get is a white screen. There are tons of white screen forum posts throuhg internet, I have already changed the SEEDUINO -> MEGA #define as suggested in other posts.

It’s very frustrating, last time I bought a TFT 2.8 display from Adafruit, it worked first time.

Any ideas? Anything more to do?

Described steps should work. Problem seems to be a damaged arduino pin, now is workiing fine.
