Arch Max Free Port Pins

Hi,



I need two 16-bits ports: one for reading data from sensor and the other for writing data to FIFO. I am looking at the schematic of “Arch Max”. I see all the pins of MCU are connedted to the ports. I think I can use Port E and Port D freely without any conflict (Pin share) condition. I will use PortIn and PortOut for reading and writing.



Is there any additional problem that I can meet?

Hi,



The Arch Max is a mbed enabled development board for rapid prototyping. It is based on a STM32F407VET6 microcontroller with an ARM Cortex-M4F core running at 168MHz. it has 40 available GPIO’s, so you can use any of this.
