hey can anybody help me with the project,i have to design an electronic speed trap,using ultrasonic sensor,microcontroller and LCD,since the ultrasonic sensor can find the distance,i think it can be possible to determine the speed,may if i can sent the signal twice,i can evaluate the speed from there,speed will be distance 1 minus distance 2,divide by the same way with the time
hey, but you still need to know the time between distance-1 and distance-2, and if your speed is too fast,the ultrasonic sensor may not detect it, our ultrasonic’s detective frequency is not very high…so maybe your result couldn’t accurate.
