Iām following the wiki on using buildroot to build reterminal image but I get the following error:
HTTP request sent, awaiting responseā¦ 404 Not Found
2021-09-04 15:34:51 ERROR 404: Not Found.
package/pkg-generic.mk:144: recipe for target ā/home/bob/seeed-linux-buildroot/output/build/kernel_module-master/.stamp_downloadedā failed
When I go to āhttp://sources.buildroot.net/ā there is no ākernel_module/kernel_module-master-br1.tar.gzā.
Seller stock manipulation by SeeedStudio
Purchased a Raspberry Pi 5 16GB on Nov 26, 2025.
Item was supposed to ship on Dec 2, 2025. This was indicated clearly in the order during purchase.
As of 9 July, 2026, Seeedstudio is claiming that they do not have any stocks during this entire period, and will not know when the next restock is coming.
Seeedstudio held onto the funds for this entire time, did not provide any updates, and now claims that they do not have the item and do not know when the item will be restocked. This is despite their website showing exactly when the item will be restocked next.
This is obviously an attempt to evade honoring the purchase price of the item, as the price of memory has went up significantly. They have obviously chose to sell the item to other buyers during this period, resulting in no stock.
There were multiple restocks during this period, but the team chose not to fulfill my order, and instead fulfill the later orders with the significantly higher price.
During this time, SeeedStudio chose to kept silent about this and held onto my funds without any updates on fulfilment of the order.
The website shows the next back order is on Sep 3, 2026, but the staff is pushing to refund my order instead of honoring it.
Further to this SeeedStudio is choosing to sell the item on other platforms instead, with a significantly higher price than what I have paid for.
This is a perfect example of stock manipulation to cancel a low price order to fulfill orders at a higher price.
