Today the lowest power possible like a device with a Year and a half battery?
Location accuracy to rival your phone.
This is why they lead and don’t follow… NORDIC Semi-conductor they do BETTER than That!
Using WiFi for low-power locationing vs Cellular vs. GNSS WiFI SSID locationing the NEW Stuff!
More innovation , less duplication. One SDK to rule them all , with debugging that works.

UPDATE!!
“We have more engineers working on the software development than we do on the Hardware. Even though we are a hardware company” ENOUGH SAID! Finn Boetius from Nordic Semiconductor ,
“LOCATIONING” Tracking in the 20th Century…

I grabbed the nRF7002-EK hat for the nRF52840DK , I love the nRF7000 scan only that is truly innovative.

Hi there,
So if you have a interest in the topic and maybe a little Insomnia , this is the webinar for you.
It will catch you up on WiFi-6 and some great info on the value of having WiFi as a minimum.
Did You know? Wi-Fi 6 has a great feature. and Nordic is 100% on board.
Target Wake Time (TWT) is a key feature of Wi-Fi 6 that allows devices to negotiate when to wake up and sleep with an access point (AP). This feature helps reduce power consumption by allowing devices to spend more time in sleep mode.
Here are some benefits of TWT:
Power savings: TWT allows devices to sleep during idle time, which saves power.
Better network efficiency: TWT allows devices to avoid waking up at the same time, which can increase network efficiency. This is especially helpful for smart homes with many IoT devices that only sporadically send and receive data.
Smarter data management: TWT allows access points to better manage data streams.
Devices can negotiate their own TWT agreement or join an existing TWT Broadcast session on the AP.
The nRF7002 DK is one of the few certified embedded reference designs that supports TWT.
Stay tuned for more testing with the nRF7002_EK and some video’s

Interesting. Do you think they license from SemTech or are they directly competing (or maybe SemTech licenses from Nordic, I have no idea)? Maybe they decided having a standalone Wifi scanner was better than the current products like the LR1110 (SemTech) which is GNSS/Wifi/Lora combined. Interesting they are offering their own cloud service as well.
Hi there,
SemTech is a first to market co. So they licence it just like RAK also licenses it from Nordic.
The "locationing " is the latest tech using it.
