This will be the very first time I’ve started using an Arduino board and I currently have it connected to the 125KHz RFID Reader.
I understand I can program the Arduino to listen to the RFID Reader to make it do many things but one of the questions I have (before plugging in and blowing up) is whether I can power the RFID with a 5v/GND plus TX/RX directly from a computer RS232 COM1 port to just read data from the tags into hyperterminal as the tag reader outputs at 9600,8,1,N which is (not?) just serial data?
