So ROM (program size) is not the problem but the RAM (work memory) is? Do you have to keep everything in RAM which is used in normal mode in FFT mode too? Or is the problem the the whole ROM program has to fit in RAM while running? Two separate program modules? A small loader which gives you choices which program to load?
