Good morning
I can power the LinkIt One via 3.7 Volt Lithium. And I can use the USB 5 volts. Obviously the board provides power for the voltages (3.3 and 5) depending on the input.
What I am looking at is powering it from an external battery. It will be a 12 volt SLA, but I can put in a 5 volt DC-DC converter first.
What I can’t figure out is where to connect it (other than the USB). Ideally I could connect to the 5V pin on the board, but I note that the 5V pin on the board does not go to the 5V on the USB (I think). It therefore may not produce the necessary 3.3 Volts etc.
If I have to go to the USB connector, I can split up a cable and allow connection and still have computer connection, but it would be better if there was an alternative pin I could use.
Thanks
Scott
