I was observing the signal level by placing the expansion board pins on the pads of the back side, but since the pin tips are rounded, they couldn’t break through the oxide layer on the pads and were causing poor contact.
After soldering them, I was able to observe the level properly.
I don’t think this issue is related to brick.
