XIAO ESP32S3 Sense - Battery charging

PJ,

I can’t thank you enough for sharing your work. Bravo!

When I have an opportunity, I’ll try your patch, and report here.

I’m constructing a solar power supply for 24-hour outdoor operation.

Most parts are available from https://www.mpja.com/Solar-Panel-6V-100mA-For-DIY-Projects/productinfo/38309+SO/

These little ESPs are astounding. A YouTube video shows how to load Linux! (Don’t get too excited; it consumes 80% CPU at idle.)

Best regards,
Larry

Hi there,
Yea Idunno putting linux on these is like killing a fly with a shotgun.
You may want to consider , a power bank with the solar power already on it. still keep the lipo and just let the power bank buffer the battery and recharge it and itself during the day.
