Hi Jasper,

There are 2 grove ports, one is I2c and the other is GPIO12 and GPIO13. You can see below schematic.

For the

LED strip WS2813, We suggest you use the external power supply for the led strips. For external power supply, you have to connect the vcc and gnd to ws2813.

For the grove port, You can connect the signal to GPIO12(Pin1) or GPIO13(Pin2). Please do share the GND(Pin4) as well. Only the signal pin and GND. thanks.
