RePhone Touch Screen Problems

So I got a RePhone kit and I was putting everything together and it was working fine but then for some reason the touch screen started mirror the registered touchest, for example if I touched an icon on the right the RePhone would register it as a click on the icon to the left. I tried countless fixes but none of them worked. I swapped out different ribbon cables multiple times, moved around the connected modules multiple times until I removed everything except for the main processor module and the screen. Can anyone help me with my problem?

As far as I remember, someone already had the same problem. Your bad luck is that I searched in this forum for the post but it had way too many results. So dig up, the answer is somewhere there
