+ ReSpeaker 4-mic array

Hello everyone

I need help answering a question: is it possible to connect 3 (three) + ReSpeaker 4 Mic to a single Raspberry Pi 3 B +?

I have an application where I need to use 3 Respeaker boards and would like to use only one Raspberry Pi 3 B +.

thanks

Hi there,

Yes, it will display as card1, device0, card 2, device0 and so on. I only have 1 mic array v2.0 and 1 mic array v1.0. here is my output. thanks.

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ arecord -l

**** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****

card 1: ArrayUAC10 [ReSpeaker 4 Mic Array (UAC1.0)], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]

Subdevices: 1/1

Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

card 2: Array [ReSpeaker Microphone Array], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]

Subdevices: 1/1

Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Thanks a lot, bill.

I understood that you used USB ports to connect the cards.

In case of the board + ReSpeaker 4-Mic Array for Raspberry Pi there is no USB port only GP12, I2C and GPIO Header. In that case can I connect more than one card to the RPI 3?

Hi there,

it seems you talk about ReSpeaker_4_Mic_Array_for_Raspberry_Pi. <LINK_TEXT text=“http://wiki.seeedstudio.com/ReSpeaker_4 … pberry_Pi/”>http://wiki.seeedstudio.com/ReSpeaker_4_Mic_Array_for_Raspberry_Pi/</LINK_TEXT>

I miss capture it as ReSpeaker Mic array v2.0.

We use the I2S to capture the audio. We do not test it before. Maybe other people have any idea about connect multi-I2S devices to Raspberry on forum. thanks.
