Raspberry Pi HeatSink

Hi Tech Support Team,

Do you know if our copper heat sink cooling kit or our aluminum heat sink cooling kit will fit the new RaspberryPi 4?

Thanks,

Hi ~

I checked Pi4 datasheet mechanical drawing, there is no size about the bcm2711. We do not have the pi4 yet. But the Pi3B+ BCM2837 size is 14*14mm. BCM2711 and BCM2837 looks similar size.

The biggest heat sink size is 14 x 14 mm for both products.

So we think the heat sink works with pi4.

Looks nice but then a whole new design would be needed for a respectable case. Benchmark tests with simple copper heat sinks on RPi4 demonstrate that the temperature still hovers above 80 degrees Celsius with intensive benchmarks. Use the panel applet to monitor temperature while testing different heat sinks for the same load.

Kind regards.

I just put this on my RPi 4 and, as expected, it’s running much cooler even when streaming. Finding a case is proving difficult, although I am thinking of asking my daughter to design one for me. She is an industrial designer so this should be right up her alley.

Hi there~

We will release the case soon. Please stay tuned. thanks.
