Powering Seeeduino LoRaWAN GPS with battery

Hello,

I’m really new to Arduino and electronics DIY. I’m trying to power my Seeeduino LoRaWAN GPS using a 3.7v Lipo battery. Despite I’m carefully following step 2 of the tutorial for this board (http://wiki.seeedstudio.com/Seeeduino_LoRAWAN/), I cannot make the board to work only using the battery.

According to the specifications, this board embeds an integrated battery managment chip that allows the board to be charged by USB interface. What I would like to do is to charge my 3.7v - 4000mAh battery and disconnect the USB connection when the status indicator LED indicates battery is fully charged.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there,

Sorry for the late response. Please help provide more info about "I cannot make the board to work only using the battery. " So we can debug. thanks.

I am seeing the same thing. I have 2 of these boards and they don’t seem to charge or utilize 3.7v LiPo batteries plugged into the JST port.
