Seeduino 4.2 and Blink Program

Post by sujaygupta » Sat May 14, 2016 4:29 pm

HI

I am a newbie, few starting problems.

1)
What serial port settings should I use for connecting to the Seeduino4.2? over Windows?

2)
My Example blink program is not actually blinking the LED.

Original code:
// the setup function runs once when you press reset or power the board
void setup() {
// initialize digital pin 13 as an output.
pinMode(13, OUTPUT);
}

// the loop function runs over and over again forever
void loop()
{
digitalWrite(13, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
delay(1000); // wait for a second
digitalWrite(13, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
delay(1000);
}

But when I change to code to this it is;

Why it is such??

New code:
// the setup function runs once when you press reset or power the board
void setup() {
// initialize digital pin 13 as an output.
pinMode(13, OUTPUT);
}

// the loop function runs over and over again forever
void loop()
{
digitalWrite(13, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
delay(10); // wait for a second
digitalWrite(13, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
delay(1000);
digitalWrite(13, HIGH);
// wait for a second
}
