BLE Beacon scanning

Post by mirko.antonini » Tue Mar 29, 2016 8:35 pm

Hi,
Do you have any easy to use module able to scan/detect iBeacon, also producing RSSI measurement? (best with AT commands?).
Can Blueduino do this job?
Thanks

Mirko

Ps: I need continuous scanning... so scanning delay is also important to me.

Hi Mirko,

I think Blueduino could perform your requirement. Please visit the Blueduino designers forum for clarifications.

Thanks and Regards

Hey,

Can I use some modules like HC-05(or maybe something which supports Bluetooth 4.0 or BLE) to continuously scan for nearby Bluetooth devices? If my choice of the beacon is wrong which low-cost beacon can be used for this project??
