Max. DC Output Current of Seeeduino cards

The Seeeduino v4.2 DC Output Current-5V Pin with Micro USB is 500mA and Max with DC Jack Power 2000mA. Therefore, what are the max mA DC output of Seeeduino Lotus V1.1 and Seeeduino Lite?

I wish to connect multiply Groves that require more than 2A Operating Current and I was thinking of using a power supply of 5V with 10A (or more).

Hi there~

The Seeeduino v4.2 has the MP1496 chips, which offers a very compact solution to achieve a 2A continuous output current with excellent load and line

regulation over a wide input supply range. It depends on the voltage converter chip.

For the Seeeduino Lotus V1.1, it only has the microusb port. the max is 500ma.

For the Seeeduino Lite, it uses the L78, Output current up to 1.5 A.

If you use more than 2A, you can use the external power supply to power the VCC and GND, leave the signal, GND to connect with arduino. Hope it can help.
