Re: DS203 quad user interface design

@Gabonator Any update on this work you've done? I absolutely love the code and use of C++. Makes it so much more intuitive. It still needs to add a few features like Calibration, Save/Recall waveforms, FFT maybe, Point/Line interpolation of waveform. But, the UI is smooth and responsive. There appea...

Re: Update problem - newbie question

Possibly Win7 is the culprit. My setup has XP. Glad to know your problem is solved.

Re: Update problem - newbie question

step-by-step (might help others too) 1 - Hold down Key1(Play/pause sign) and POWERON This puts you in DFU mode and gives you a removable DFU disk on Windows platform 2 - Copy the .ADR file to the DFU disk the DSO will disconnect and re-connect on USB If you check the DFU disk directory, it will now ...

Re: DSO203 GCC APP - Community Edition (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes

Hello Pedro

The sys was a problem. Updating from Marcos binary corrected the problem.

Now, my setup has
HW 2.60
SYS 1.50 SmTech 1.6

Thanks very much

Regards

Re: Update problem - newbie question

Did you miss the other file??

You start the DSO in upgrade mode
copy the CFG_FPGA.ADR file
copy the FPGA_V25.BIN file

Now, power off and on to start in normal mode

Re: DSO203 GCC APP - Community Edition (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes

Yes I have the Bios.h which declares ANALOG_PSC. I am looking for the Sys package Bios.C which has the Set function. In the Sys1.51 files, there is no handler for the ANALOG_PSC case. Maybe that is causing the function to work on some DSO203? I want to backtrace and find the registers being manipula...

Re: DSO203 GCC APP - Community Edition (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes

I've been able to fix the analog outputs by changing this table A_tab A_Tab[15] ={ // analog waveform output driver table synthesis, based on the 72MHz frequency, per 36 // STR PSC ARR {"! 1Hz !", 20-1, 50000-1}, {"! 2Hz !", 20-1, 20000-1}, {"! 5Hz !", 20-1, 10000-1}, {" 10Hz ", 20-1, 5000-1}, {" 20...

Here is a screen shot of the diff I took on the original process.c and the GCC port

Re: DSO Quad GCC port (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes)

Can't seem to be able to reproduce that.
My tests all seem OK.
Here is a screenshot of the problem. What I did is record the Squarewave(A_Tab) @1kHz - Timebase is 1mS
I then changed the output to PWM(D_Tab) @1kHz 50% duty and captured the screen shot

Re: DSO Quad GCC port (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes)

There is another issue I have to report here. The wave out (analog) seems to be off by one index. If it is generating 1kHz, the output is actually 500Hz. I caught this while looking at the FFT display of frequency.
