Re: Realtime Sensor Data Aquisition - GPS v2

There's support for the sensors in the Kit Create software, but I haven't found any GPS stuff in there yet. I did test the GPS I bought with the gps test sketch and it was getting information (I didn't verify the accuracy, the first tests were merely connection and basic reading), so I'm pretty sure...

Re: (TECH) Anyone want a keyboard for sending SMS messages?

I was having SSH connection problems, but it looks like replacing the HTTPS urls with SSH urls fixed that!

I haven't made any of my changes yet, but the fork is set up and now linked to my local copy.

(TECH) Anyone want a keyboard for sending SMS messages?

As part of getting familiar with the various programming IDEs (Eclipse and Arduino are both new to me), as well as the new phone technology, I've been playing around with the base RePhone Kit Create software (as other people on here have been). I've managed to add the ability to type in your own mes...

Re: (IDEA) Add a headphone jack to RePhone?

I'm looking at this too. The GSM breakout board has the appropriate pads it looks like, so my current plans are to attach a stereo+mic headphone jack to it.

Re: Rephone Arduino GSM examples (SMS, data, call)

This may just prove my newness, but I thought that you could program for arduino using the eclipse ide or the arduino ide? The arduino ide looks to me more like a text editor than an actual ide, but as I don't have my hardware yet I haven't been able to experiment with the different softwares more s...

Re: Rephone Arduino GSM examples (SMS, data, call)

The RePhone Kit Create is the main kit Seeed offered with the Xadow GSM+BLE, Xadow Audio & Xadow Screen connected into a basic cellphone with paperboard "wrapper".

Those examples were for the Eclipse IDE, and not the arduino IDE specifically.

Re: Rephone Arduino GSM examples (SMS, data, call)

I haven't browsed through the source code myself (yet ;) ), sorry I can't be more helpful, but the RePhone Kit Create source is here:

:ugeek:

That's similar to one of the ideas I was going to try: a "Weasley Clock" implemented with GSM+BLE, displayed on a clock in the house.
