Re: Ardunio & seed studio RTC

Hi Sudharshan, I have modified your code to include time stamp. #include <SD.h> #include "DHT.h" #include <Wire.h> #include "RTClib.h" #include "DS1307.h" #define DHTPIN A0 #define DHTTYPE DHT22 DHT dht(DHTPIN, DHTTYPE); DS1307 clock; // declare object for DS3234 class const int chipSelect = 10; voi...

Re: powering Grove LED and vibration motor with Arduino UNO

Hi, If you would like to change two or more pins of the same Port,(Simultaneously) use bare metal AVR code. The AVR code for your application void setup(){ DDRD=0b01001000;//This configures the 6th pin and 3rd pin as OUTPUT } void loop(){ PORTD=0b01001000;//This makes 6th and 3rd pins of PORT D as 1...

Hi,
We do not have a separate manufacturers part list .
You could generate a BOM from Eagle CAD files.

Re: Seeeduino v3.0 with Ubuntu 14.04

Hi Rashantha, Seeeduino V3 uses FTDI USB to Serial chip which is supported by Ubuntu and other GNU/Linux since many versions. We checked in Ubuntu 14.04 and it works. If you use sudo to start arduino application as suggested, it must work without even adding user to dialout group. To diagnose 1) Rec...

Re: Water Sensor Behavior - Full Immersion Test

Hi Malcolm,

This Grove water sensor is not meant for water level detection. It can only indicate if the sensor is in dry state and wet state.
If the sensor in a fully immersed in water it will short Vcc and GND.

Please feel free to ask any other questions.

Thanks.

Re: Howto change vibration intensity of Grove - Vibration Mo

In arduino the PWM capable pins are Digital pins 3,5,6,9,10,11. For more clarification see the wiki page which will clearly indicate the PWM pins. The Grove base shield digital connectors D2-D8 are to digital pins 2-8 Please refer the base shield wiki page . The pin 9 is connected to the D8 connecto...

Re: Grove I2C Motor Driver - Set Motor Direction Independent

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Yes it is possible to control the direction of the motors independently.

For Further details and demo code refer the wiki.
It has a function called MotordirectionSet() which would help you.

Re: Howto change vibration intensity of Grove - Vibration Mo

Thanks for buying Grove Vibration motor. The Grove-Vibration motor already contains a transistor to control and has a back-emf protection diode. In the Wiki example motor is connected to pin 9 which a PWM capable output. Please use PWM ( analogwrite() ) to vary the speed of vibration. Ex Code : Slow...
