Re: RFID penetration

Depends on the stone and the tag you're using.
If the stone doesn't contain metal and you use an "ISO card" tag it should work. But remember that this module is only for the most basic RFID functions (just to say one: no anticollision!)...

Re: 13.56Mhz RFID module Help

error: invalid conversion from 'char*' to 'char' You should really study C a bit (or at least read a good book at least once), before shooting yourself in the foot. That's a really basic question. char customer_name[][10]={"Deray","Tobe","Mike","Chris"}; Use: const char* customer_name[]={"Deray","T...

Re: 13.56Mhz RFID module Help

Everything is working fine even with the 60 names! For "only" 60 names you could use PROGMEM to place strings in program memory instead of RAM. Watch out for wearout! Prog mem have a quite limited number of writes! I just dont understand the text string declaration [][10] "char customer_name[][10]"...

Re: RDM880 and multiple tags

Last post about this issue... Talking with the tech assistance (incredibly fast with answers!) I discovered that anticollision on ISO14443A is not yet implemented in current modules. Implementing it would require an order of at least 300 pieces -- I don't know how many pieces Seeed orders, but if th...

"error" in Grove base shield v1.2

Hello. Just to report (maybe for v1.3?) that it doesn't stack well with other modules. To be more precise, it can't be put between an Arduino and an Ethernet Shield, since its headers "displace" the top module so that it can't connect to the ICSP bus. And its increased width (mainly to accomodate di...

Keyboard plus antenna

I noticed that RDM880's antenna nearly fits around a standard 4x3 matrix keyboard...
So I thought: why not combine 'em on a single cs (maybe together w/ a couple of LEDs (red and green, or just one bi-color) so it can act as a "complete" input system?

Re: RDM880 and multiple tags

More info available at: http://www.datarfid.com/doce/Product/pic_69.html

Since it's a T-A, it only supports 'A' command set and Mifare cards. That explains why ISO15693_Inventory (0x10) fails: it would require RDM880-T-E reader!

Re: RDM880 and multiple tags

Small update: if I put one card and the tag I get the "multi card" flag set . If I put the two cards in the field, I get the SN of one of the cards and the "multi card" flag not set ! And, as already said, if i place the two cards and the tag in the field, the "multi card" flag does not get set. And...
