Re: DSO203 GCC APP - Community Edition (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes

Re: DSO Quad GCC port (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes)

Is it based on the existing GPL code? If so, have you released the source? functions that I implemented are not based on GPL, Where are your sources, I want to see your firmware version for DSO, possible without the source code. you firmware are based on free communiti code you don't have any right...

Re: DSO Quad GCC port (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes)

About the internal generator
It is far from perfect. At first - the signal from the DAC is not filtered. Second - the output buffer amplifier goes to a limiting on the signal levels close to GND and Vss, it is noticeable even visually, and produce harmonic components.

Re: DSO Quad GCC port (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes)

220 ac from wall it very very dirt source )) because of many consumers like flyback power source, gas discharge lamp, etc sine wave of 220 with transformer 220 ac spectrogram without second 100 Hz harmonic? Very strange ))) just do not know what to suggest How about your spectroscope dynamic range?

Re: DSO Quad GCC port (2.51+SmTech1.8+Fixes)

Yes, Marco and then Pedro did a great job, thank you very much. And the work of Pedro allows each of us to compile the firmware using a free compiler. The integration of FFT is very nice but I don't understand what it measures exactly. Look at the following example (230V mains with 10x probe): Two ...

Re: max. Voltage on CHC & CHD

A detailed description of the ESD protection circuits found in the documentation is quite rare. But these circuits are always present. Otherwise, in the production process will be too large percentage of damaged components.
Typical maximum continuous current for components like MCU and FPGA - 5-20mA.

Re: max. Voltage on CHC & CHD

Yes, but usually it is not protected with zener. Commonly used standard diode to Vss rail.

Re: max. Voltage on CHC & CHD

in FPGA present internal diodes for ESD protection. They, along with limiting resistors, form the "first line" of defense against voltages above Vss.
4 volt limit from datasheet relates to the sources with no current limit. In our case, the current limiting resistor.
