Re: Honey, I fried my signal generator?

Andrey, quite some endeavours you went through there, great that you got it working again. Thanks for sharing the experiences made! If you for any reason would like to reflash the original boot loader, here goes. Hi tormod The link to bootloader has died. Can you please upload it again? Also, is th...

Re: DSO nano new bootloader firmware

For flashing a bootloader yes, you need a UART (there may be options like RS232<->UART converter) and the easiest way is tu buy a USB<->TTL adapter. Cheap like hell. Can do your own as well (e.g. http://roboforum.ru/forum4/topic10592-15.html#p232256 - sorry, it's in Russian). If you use a scope you ...

Re: DSO nano new bootloader firmware

Hi guys, I've been asked to share my experience with bootloader flashing. Please excuse me if anything is wrong - I've got a really short memory. But just in case I tried to reflash the bootloader once again and it seems to be working. So here's the instruction: Latest firmware: http://code.google.c...

Re: Triggering not reliable.

Confirm such behaviour. Can't catch neither keyboard presses when sensing USART on 115200, SPI fails, etc etc. Makes the $200 totally unusable (guys, I'm not exaggerating! - YOU CAN'T SEE UART on this thing!). Someone from seeed please comment on this. will you accept a return? I don't need such an ...

Re: Order delayed for one month? Unacceptable...

Just a side note - it would be great if you could add the requirement regarding NC Drill.txt file to the service page explicitly stating that it must be in Excellon standard. I believe that may save some time for other hobbyists who like me don't know anything about production and just blindly follo...

Order delayed for one month? Unacceptable...

Hi Seeedstudio, I've been enjoying your products and services for some time by now, but something very unpleasant and unappropriate is happening with my latest order. I ordered PCB Fusion service on 4th of January (Order # is 41842). I prepared it as it is described on the page, exactly: The Gerber ...

Re: Honey, I fried my signal generator?

Great tormod, thanks! That was a real fun for me. Eventually I managed to waste completely the power part of DSO, so I just use it by supplying 4V to the switch directly from a standalone power supply. Anyways, I don't need more for now.

Re: Honey, I fried my signal generator?

Got my screen back. Eventually it was not working because I disconnected the battery. Once I soldered it back (OMG, two wires are so close to each other on PCB without any housing - OUCHHHH) the I saw the image. 99% there with repairment - however one more thing to do. As I connect USB, the screen g...

Re: Honey, I fried my signal generator?

OK, finally got it working (it = MCU). Now I have an "evaluation board" with USB, SPI flash and buttons. Even the signal generator is back to life. The screen however was not lucky as well - only backlighting works that definitely doesn't help in hardware debugging. To get the MCU I had to recompile...
