Re: WIN8.1 and Quad V2.81 USB Interface

Also try different USB cable. Some sellers ship bad USB cables, quite many have had trouble upgrading firmware and solved it by switching the cable.

Re: What switch ?

If they still use the same switch as in the first models, it is terrible. Mine was bad to begin with and now it doesn't make reliable contact anymore.

Re: can't update firmware any more

So the Tetris image never worked and still does not work? That sounds more like broken .hex or something than bootloader trouble.

Re: DSO Quad Logic analyzer application

But ... after this change, we have another problem :( - in the current version we have ~4 KB for captured data. When the FAT I/O buffer will be increased, then we lose the additional RAM space and for data capture will be less than 500 bytes. Which means that the application requires a thorough reb...

Re: DAC channel resolution

It's a limitation of the default firmware. Other firmwares can use more samples.

Re: DFU showing but unresponsive..SOLVED!

I tested 1 byte records which worked fine, and also there is another example of a split hex record earlier in the file which doesn't trigger the problem. So it is some more subtle combination that triggers this behaviour in the loader. Strange. I noticed some trouble when loading but for me it work...

Re: Fixing the 2.72 8M Issues

Thanks. That is good news. One bit of clarification. Does it require the Alter Bios for this to work as there are 8M fixes in that? QuadPawn always installs non-patch version of AlterBIOS for itself, as it needs it to work at all (on any device, 2M or 8M). The separate AlterBIOS .hex also patches t...

Re: Fixing the 2.72 8M Issues

Pawn again is supposed to run on 8MB devices OK but I haven't seen any reports of uses which involve loading and saving to disc. I suspect those would fail on an 8MB device without similar adjustment. Pawn always needs to load files so if it works at all, filesystem access works also. Saving is als...

Re: DFU showing but unresponsive.. SOLVED

Then on a whim I renamed the PAWN_011.HEX file to PAWN_008.HEX and it uploaded with no problems. So now I have QUADPAWN build dated Nov 3 2013 at 16:13:20 Git id version 0.11 GCC version 4.7.4 20130613 running on my DSO quad 8MB AND I've got the .amx files in my USB drive AND they work! So HTF did ...
