Xadow LED module and mounting in the Xadow frame

When mounting the LED module in the Xadow frame, it is mounted upside down so that the LEDs are visible from outside the frame. This requires twisting the FFC cable connecting it to other modules and the Xadow Mainboard. When you mount the OLED module, this twist is not required and full space is av...

Xadow frame module design files and additional designs

Hi I am prototyping a Xadow based product and getting ready for a big public release of it very soon. The Xadow frame is extremely nice and has great look and especially feels great when you touch it :) However, I need to mount external parts and wiring and also try alternate mounting methods, which...

Xadow LED module - several questions

The LED board is very nice and looks really nice when mounted in the frame, however based on currently available information, it seems quite limited, hence the questions:- 1. Every time a char or string message is sent, the display shows "05" in a small font and rotated 90 degrees for a short time, ...

Re: GROVE RGB LED + ULTRASONIC SENSOR

I have now confirmed - you can use other pins instead of pins 0 & 1, so that you can also use the Arduino serial as tthe same time.

Re: GROVE RGB LED + ULTRASONIC SENSOR

The Grove RGB leds use serial communcations and uses the standard Arduino serial pins 0 & 1, BUT the RGB leds use a different serial protocol to the Arduino Serial! So you can't just use both serial protocols. Maybe you could try and enable one, use if, then enable the other serial coms mode, but it...

Re: Grove - I2C Motor Driver - information and source code

.. looking at the firmware zip file mentioned above, shows that is only contains the hex firmware, not the acutal source code.

Seeed seem to have mailed the source to Schmron, but it would be really nice if they could publicly release it :)

.. come on, please - you do say you are open source :)

Grove - 3-axis Compass v1.0b - calibration

If this compass is not calibrated, then the data you get is likely to be very inaccurate - in my case accuracy varied enourmously during a 360 rotation and was between 20-80 degress out when uncalibrated. After a fair bit of research & effort I have tracked down some information and made a good star...

Re: Grove - 3-axis Accelerometer freezes

I am having the same issues. I my case I read samples OK in a very short test, but it was only when I tried a fast loop to see haw many times a second I could read the sensor (thinking about trying real time motion tracking - 120 samples per second) that I experienced the freezes. My tight loops hav...

Re: Grove - I2C Motor Driver

I too have a brand new Grove I2C motor controller and have been struggling to get all the info required to make is fully usefull. I have it mostly working, here are the things I had to do and some hopefully usefull info: - Make sure power is connected to the motor controller when RUNNING your code, ...
