Re: maximize noise reduction

Hi there Cinettoa. The ReSpeaker Mic Array v2.0 out-of-box demo is not about noise suppression, such as quieting an AC unit or fan. It is about AEC, or canceling nose that is being played by the mic array itself. The reason you are not seeing any activity on line 5 is because line five is the audio ...

Re: Interface to CLK SYNC Control

Hi Max, This is a great question... The simple answer is no, this is not possible. The Core v2.0 is not a real-time system. As such, when we start to record the audio, we would have to send a message to get the system time/timestamp or the GPS time/timestamp. There is overhead to send this message a...

Re: Invalid GPIO pin specified

Hi Chris,

I am having the team look into this now. I am hoping we can reply by the end of work tomorrow.

Also, your name really confused me. I thought you were a Seeed employee at first, hah!

Re: Snips Install Instructions for Respeaker

Hah, good question. Snips recently got the board working with us, we will have instructions soon I hope!

I'll reach out to them soon and ask them about the process.

Re: 3D case designed for PI Hats ??

I doubt all users keep it like that - but I assume most do. I think many people enjoy making their own cases, though I know I'd be too lazy for that! I think most users buy and play with the Pi HATs just for fun or testing/development without caring about the aesthetics as much. /shrug That be...

Re: 3D case designed for PI Hats ??

Thanks. I will maybe put out a tweet to see if people want this. Honestly you are the first person I've seen who has requested a case for the Pi HATs. Will poll our community and see if we should do this.

Re: Using the audio output (Device or resource busy)

Hi M.

We had a long weekend due to moving offices, and now the employees are setting up their workstations today. The response for this may be delayed a bit more that usual - but it will come! I apologize for the possible delay.

Re: Mic array v2 beamforming

So far we have a video to show the DoA and AEC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XivM-6PRgX8 However we do not have a specific demo to show the result of beam forming and noise suppression directly. You can see some of this in the AEC demo as both are still being utilized in this demo. Note that in t...
