Re: What happens if you put Nano across the Mains power supp

I remember some post a few years ago, he blew his nano up. He was measuring a three phase system if I recall right. He had placed the nano on a earthed surface. And probably the - cable to the battery does not insulate good enough for the mains voltage so it shorted. So the nano ground probe has dir...

Re: DSO firmware version 3.62

Hi BenF! So ROM (program size) is not the problem but the RAM (work memory) is? Do you have to keep everything in RAM which is used in normal mode in FFT mode too? Or is the problem the the whole ROM program has to fit in RAM while running? Two separate program modules? A small loader which gives yo...

Re: FFT proof of concept

Btw, would it be possible to draw it in the background in a different color, maybe with transparency? So you can watch it at the same time as you use the oscilloscope? Maybe the CPU power is not enough for that?

Hi

It's a good policy to search before you ask on the internet.

Re: DSO firmware version 3.61

Hi Distance is 1.067m. No distance is not the interesting thing, its the shape and amplitude of the ping. The frequency was to high anyway so I only see one or two samples a little higher on the nano at smallest t/div and v/div, no nicely shaped sinus curve :( Anyway the problem fixed itself, probab...

Re: DSO firmware version 3.61

Hi Discovered one little thing I could not do with the nano even with Bens greatest 3.61 (gosh is it really possible ;) I wanted to look at a echo from a ultrasonic flow meter. There are two transducers that constantly send a pings to each other. The ping is about a volt but the response from the ot...
