Re: Mic array in UBUNTU

Thank you Bill.

I tried with the firmware and audacity, and I get the same result. I need to try with the python script. I need some day to do it, because I do not have access to the mic now.
I'll let you know the result.
Thanks,

Re: Mic array in UBUNTU

Hello.
It's V1.
I'm attaching an MP3 recorded with audacity (also with other tools I have the same result). You can hear my voice in background saying "hello", but it's very distorted.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Mic array in UBUNTU

Hello.
I'm trying to use the ReSpeaker MIC array as USB MIC in Ubuntu. The MIC is recognized, but when I try to record something (with audacity for example), I just get a lot of background noise, and my voice is barely audible in the background.
Any suggestion to fix this?
Thanks,

Re: Xadow upload sketch

Also, consider that I'm able to upload on different boards and on the old Xadow with the same IDE.

Re: Xadow upload sketch

Thanks kavi.

Yes, I'm using Linux.

My user is already in the dialout group.

But now, which board should I use to upload? Leonardo or Xadow?

Thanks,

Xadow upload sketch

Hello. Some months ago I bought some Xadow main board. I was able to upload sketches with Arduino 1.5 by following the instructions given in the Wiki. So far so good. Recently I bought a couple of new main boards, but there is something strange: the board has now a different ID. It is recognized as ...

Re: Xadow sleep mode

OK, I found the problem: all is working fine, the problem is the serial monitor: when the processor go into sleep mode, it shuts down also the serial. When it wakes up, the serial port is re-opened and the IDE serial monitor must be close and re-opened. If you put a pause just after the wakeup, and ...

Xadow sleep mode

Hi. I'm running the following code on Xadow: void setup() { Serial.begin(9600); while(!Serial.available()); Xadow.init(); delay(2000); Serial.println("Init over"); } void loop() { Serial.println("Sleeping"); delay(1000); Xadow.pwrDown(4000); // sleep for 1000ms Xadow.wakeUp(); // wake up Serial.prin...

Quick question: I hava a main board with a serial breakout.
I need to turn on an external device by putting a pin HIGH for two seconds. How can I do it with Xadow?
Do I have the possibility to do this?
