Re: GPSv2 inaccuracy

My GPS modules return coordinates that are about twenty miles off. After reading this post from the beginning it isn't clear to me what I need to do to fix this issue. Would someone kindly point me in the right direction? I see the .hex file above. Does it fix the GPS module's inaccuracy? If so, wha...

FCC Certification?

Does the Xadow GSM module have FCC certification for the US market? Or any US certifications applicable to electronic products?
Can the Xadow module be incorporated into a product and sold without completely starting from scratch on the certification process?

Thank you

Re: (TECH) Unable to falsh Adrunio IDE firmware

Are you switching com ports prior to opening the serial monitor? Refer to the hello world tutorial. I believe it's in the re phone for arduino ide guide. Sketches are uploaded via one port and serial is viewed from another. MTK USB Debug Port is used for uploading code MTK USB Modem Port is used for...

@jared. I retried the sketch as it is posted above, but with my VariableID and token and it works for me. Response looks like this. Re: GPRS Library

I got the LGPRS libraries by downloading them from the mediatek site. They were written for the LinkIt board(Seeedstudio) which uses the same Mediatek 2502 chip as the RePhone. However, the libraries aren't entirely cross-compatible. Regardless, here is how you get them. http://labs.mediatek.com/sit...

Ubidots POST&GET - An Arduino IDE example

Here is an example sketch that makes a Post or Get request to Ubidots. It's a work in progress and needs improvement. If you are able to make any improvements please do so and share them with this community. The sketch is setup such that in order for it to make the request you have to have the seria...

error: const char* to 'VMSTR {aka signed char*}'

I'm trying to modify the following code, but keep getting "invalid conversion from 'const char*' to 'VMSTR {aka signed char*}' [-fpermissive]" error. I've tried constructing HTTP_HEADER and HTTP_BODY with Strings and various char arrays. And calculating the length using various methods strlen, ints ...

Re: GET/POST Assist Request

A cellular solution similar to the Arduino code below would be good. Also, we need not focus only on Ubidots. It just seemed like a good place to start. I purchased two Xadow GPS mods and would really like to make GPS trackers out of them. /* This is a simple program to connect the LinkIt ONE to my ...

Re: Cannot get GPS V2 to work

Same thing happened to me. Try removing the "1" in Serial1.print(buffer); such that it reads Serial.print(buffer); without the "1". I made this change in all occurrences.
