RFBEE Reboot Problem

Does any one have idea why RFBEE reboots randomly in between any operation?

I programmed the firmware of RFBEE and it sometimes works perfectly, but sometimes reboots automatically.

Please help

RFBee corrupted, not working

Hello All, I was working on multiple RFBees, 1 receiver node and 4 sending nodes and, sending data at a very low packet interval of 30ms [Duration between each packet sent from a node]. I sent around 2000 packets from all 4 nodes simultaneously and noticed that after sometime, receiver RFBEE wasn't ...

Re: RFBee firmware

Hi Michal,

Could you please tell me, in the FW you built, have you implemented CSMA, RTS/CTS or TDMA for less packet loss and less collision b/w multiple packets?

Thanks

Re: RFbee communication help

It's not exactly UARTSBee but it's more than that. Further, it may serve the purpose.

So, you may try what I told you in the thread above.

Re: RFbee communication help

1. No need to use the variable 'incomingbyte'. Directly write Serial.write('1'); 2. When you see -1 on the serial monitor, it simply means there is NO DATA on serial pins. This occurred because data was NOT being written on the serial pins. 3. Do you have a UARTSBee?? For testing purpose, what you c...

Re: RFbee communication help

You have used Serial.read() in both Rx and Tx code. It would only read the values in the serial pins. Since you are not using Serial.write() function at the Tx side, there would be no data being written on serial port and the serial port would read -1, which means NO DATA at the serial port. First, ...

Re: RFbee communication help

1. Serial.print() helps you to print the data currently on the Serial monitor. Serial.write() helps you to write something on the serial monitor, where writing means sending data actually to the serial pins of any device which can be transmitted to any other peripheral connected serially. So, in my ...

Re: RFBee firmware configuration

Read the Datasheet and modify the parameters in the code as per your requirements. void setup() { Serial.begin(9600); // beginning the Serial Communication // Read the AT Commands section in RFBee Datasheet to understand AT Commands below //Start control mode in RFBEE using NUM's +++ Serial.print("+...

Re: How to start with RFBee

Hi, Refer to the manual AT Commands. 1. Plug in RFBee over UARTSBee and connect 2 of them to 2 PC/Laptop. 2. Open any Serial program, like HyperTerminal, PuTTy, Terminal etc. 3. Connect them with baud rate 9600 and Select the COM port. 4. When you see "Ok" in Serial software, type (+++) and then wri...
